Treviso Suona Jazz is the Treviso city Jazz music festival, a week-long musical performance created and organized by Urbano contemporaneo, a local cultural association, together with the collaboration of the Treviso municipality.
The festival was born in 2015 with the ambition to combine the best italian artists together with the historical context the unique city of Treviso offers, creating an exclusive relationship between music, art and architecture.
The festival is organized in some of the most renown churches and museums of Treviso, along within ancient buildings dating back to the Renaissance period, auditoriums and theatres, as well as in several local osterias and bars.
The aim of the festival is to promote the jazz music, and in the mean time to share a cultural worthy project for the town and its surroundings, growing year by year.
The special ingredients of next edition will be Italian Top Jazz musicians performances, free concerts held by the most important of Music Conservatories Big Bands, together with workshops, films, exhibitions, and street parades. Jazz lovers will also appreciate the “music improvisation around the town “, which take place inside some of the most popular bars and restaurants of Treviso: mixing together the excellence of local cuisine and good music.
